Pastor John and his family moved to Plainview in the summer of 2011 to begin serving as pastor of Community Presbyterian Church. John and his wife Meg have 3 children, Robby, Ellie, and Abigail. They recently added a dog - Dodger to the family.

Pastor John enjoys reading, is active on social media (although he prefers Twitter @jocurtiss), and loves to spend time outside - even in Minnesota!

Pastor John continues to take piano lessons and enjoys running- he has even completed two half marathons.
