In 2015, the Session voted to have the House of Hope torn down. This difficult decision was not made lightly. We all recognized that the reality of the House of Hope - a place set aside to address mental illness - fell well short of the bold vision.

However, Community Presbyterian Church now benefits from additional green space in front of the church. Upon the recommendation of a Green Space Task Force, plans for a Community Prayer Garden are underway. Pea gravel has been framed in paver stones and a couple of benches have been added.
